Cherokee County Victims Identified After Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 110

Authorities in Texas have released additional information regarding a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred along Highway 110 in Cherokee County. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, investigators determined that the crash involved a northbound 2012 Chevrolet SUV and a southbound 2003 Buick LeSabre in a head-on collision.

Preliminary findings from DPS indicate that the Chevrolet SUV, reportedly driven by Raymond Roberson, traveled into the wrong side of the roadway while moving northbound. Authorities stated that the vehicle subsequently collided head-on with the Buick LeSabre driven by Ratrovius Simon, who was traveling southbound at the time of the incident.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene following reports of the serious crash. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel worked to secure the roadway, assess injuries, and begin emergency response operations.
